Strala Yoga is the new incorporation of Health First Studio.
Strala yoga is a revolutionary approach to guiding feeling and movement, which gets you radiantly healthy, free, creative and happy.
Strala is a way of being moving & healing using the principles of Tai chi with the language of Yoga.
With our classes, you will achieve a strong body, a good range of mobility and radiantly healthy from the inside out.
You elevate your mind and body with this gentle flow optimising your strength & immunity, repairing and rebalancing your mind & body.
The Strala is known as the ‘rebellious yoga’, a fusion that mixes yoga, fitness and dance. Here the spiritual dimension is the least; it is about moving the body to the sound of the most inspiring music.
The main difference with traditional yoga is that the Strala is purely physical and there is no spiritual connection beyond achieving physical and mental well-being like any sporting activity. It is movement and freedom in the face of calm and meditation.
Classes flow with a constant: do what you feel. Do not think, or compete or try to overcome yourself in each position, the key is to relax and let flow. The postures or ‘asanas’ are short-lived and very complex. The body remains in motion during the whole class without staying more than a couple of seconds in each of the positions. It is perfect for those people who love the invigorating exercises of yoga and Pilates and, in general, fitness.
In addition, it has several modalities: strong (to increase strength and flexibility); relax (to release the tension of the body); energize (to increase the body’s energy); basics (Strala’s class with simple but challenging movements); gentle (to seek calm); core (maximum performance, in 30 minutes strengthens the entire core of the body).
Through these sequences of fluid movements, the body is strengthened, connected with the mind, stress is released and, in general, helps us to feel better. Great muscular work is carried out so that the whole body is toned. In addition, being such a dynamic class burns many more calories than during a traditional yoga class.
